TAP into our story

TAPhotographs grew out of friendship, curiosity, and a shared desire to turn fleeting moments into something lasting. What began with aerial landscapes and journalism portraits slowly evolved into something deeper– a partnership built on balance.
Andrew entered photography through a drone’s-eye view, drawn to composition and visual storytelling from above. That eye translated surprisingly well to portraits– even if the people part took a little longer. Tori brought what Andrew lacked: an innate sense for posing, connection, and how to make anyone feel at ease in front of a lens. With a background in yearbook and journalism, she had the instinct to catch moments as they happened– and the skill to cull through thousands to find the best ones.
We learned side-by-side, experimenting, adjusting, laughing a lot– and using Tori’s senior photos as our first big test. For her graduation, Andrew gifted her a camera. And the rest, as they say, was inevitable.
Together, we created TAP– a duo that thrives not just on shared vision, but on complementary strengths. Editing and culling, shooting and socializing, composition and connection. Where one of us leads, the other elevates.
